Update 1.1.1 Notes

With muliple updates in just 2 weeks since the Treasures Below release, we have another update with Patch 1.1.1!

With this Update, the Fame System is being completely reworked with a brand-new Fame Leaderboard, giving top players more rewards than ever while ensuring everyone else gets valuable tools to keep climbing!

On top of that, we are rolling out Double Profession EXP Week, a smoother Expedition experience with clearer Profession Checks, the long-awaited Currencies UI, and a huge wave of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

But this won't be the only update that comes this week. The team is hard at work to deliver multiple additional updates including Equipment Transfer, the Guild Expedition Leaderboard & more!

Fame

Fame Rewards, and with that, Renown, have been very underwhelming to say the least. We have changed that.

Previously, $QUEST rewards were distributed from a shared pool based on your percentage of Fame compared to all other players. While this meant all Adventurers received some $QUEST, the amount was very diluted, leading to little rewards for top Adventurers, and as little as 20 cents equivalent of $QUEST for some Adventurers.

With this update, we are supercharging the Fame System with a brand-new tiered reward structure, designed to make rewards for top players more meaningful while also providing all Adventurers with a meaningful in-game reward each week to strengthen their progression!

From now on, $QUEST rewards from Fame will come exclusively from the brand-new Fame Leaderboard, allowing you to track the top players week-to-week. Here’s what is coming with it:

  • The top 300 Adventurers will earn fixed $QUEST rewards based on their Leaderboard position, granting  significantly larger $QUEST rewards than before.
  • Adventurers outside of the top 300 Leaderboard, but in the top 50% Fame of Active Adventurers, will receive $QUEST from a pool based on their Fame vs. other Adventurers.
  • Adventurers outside the top 50% will receive 5-10 free Munk Snacks, depending on their position on the Leaderboard.
  • With this, Adventurers will be able to receive up to an additional 2,500 $QUEST each Fame Pool.

Munk Snacks are a vital resource for progression and Fame, enabling Adventurers progression towards more valuable rewards, while $QUEST remains the coveted prize for the very best. This balance ensures that top players are rewarded with prestige and value, while everyone else gains tools to supercharge their RavenQuest experience.

But that’s not all! Here are a few more key details worth noting:

  • Fame will be granted automatically (not on Chest opening anymore) every day after server reboot, even if you are Offline.
  • Fame earned on Monday will now be applied to the following week’s cycle, rather than being counted in the current one after Tuesday’s reset to allow all Adventurers to see the results of the Fame Leaderboard for 24 hours.
  • As always, $QUEST rewards will be distributed after Tuesday reboot.

Prove your dominance in RavenQuest, climb the Leaderboard, and claim the rewards you deserve!

Miscellaneous

  • In an effort to stay true to the $QUEST 2.0 Ecosystem, but also further reward those who contribute to the $QUEST Ecosystem, now any $QUEST you spend in-game will provide you with Free Credit to withdraw $QUEST without incurring the silver fee. Planting Crops, Marketplace and Currency Exchange are not included to avoid obvious abuse loops.
  • The bonus Renown granted to Guild Leaders and Vice-Leaders will now be applied after the cap is calculated and will be added directly into the Guild Multiplier, ensuring that while base Renown remains capped like everyone else’s, leadership bonuses are applied on top without being restricted by the cap.

When Treasures Below launched, many Adventurers were clear about not wanting the Book of Expertise (a boost to Profession EXP, helping new players reach higher Profession levels more quickly) to be implemented. However, a large part of the community, especially newer players, expressed how valuable a boost like that would be to help them catch up.

That’s why we are excited to announce a Double Profession EXP Week! From this Tuesday (September 2nd) until the next (September 9th), all Profession EXP gains will be doubled, giving everyone the perfect chance to push their skills further, catch up, or even master new Professions faster than ever.

This impacts all Adventurers, giving everyone the chance to advance their Professions at twice the speed. Sharpen your tools, prepare your crafts, and make the most of this limited-time boost!

Expeditions

A significant source of frustration for all Expeditions lovers is failing a Profession Check. This always means missing out on a Munk Song that could make the difference between success and failure. In order to address this issue and improve the experience inside of Expeditions overall, we are overhauling how Profession Checks are handled:

  • Increased the base chance of success for all Profession Checks from 5% to 25%.
  • Adjusted the success chance increases based on Profession level to accelerate the higher your level is.
  • Updated the display text to show the chance of success when encountering a Profession Check in Expeditions.
  • Added coloration to the percentage displayed to more clearly inform on the risks involved.

With these changes, we expect players to be much better informed when to use and not use Toolboxes as well as have a clearer understanding of why attempts fail or succeed when inside Expeditions.

Additionally, Bonded Ghostly Infusions have been replaced with Ghostly Infusions, and Infusions are no longer a guaranteed reward anymore.

User Interface

With this update, we are introducing a long-requested Quality of Life improvement for resource management. Since the release of the Treasures Below, calls for a unified currency view have only grown louder. Now, we are expanding the inventory with a brand-new Currencies View UI!

Added a new UI window opened from your inventory by pressing "All Currencies". The new window contains all of the most important currencies in-game: RavenCoins, Lucky Coins, Dawn Essence, Jewels, Ascendable Shards, Non-Ascendable Shards, Renown, Merchant Influence, and Fame.

Rangers Company

For a long time, the consumables sold by the Rangers Company have lacked consistency. Some had cooldowns while others did not, with no clear pattern. To address this, we are standardizing the system by introducing cooldowns to all consumables in the Rangers Company shop that were previously missing them. Additionally, we are removing outdated items with no real utility. Below is the list of consumables that have now been given cooldowns:

  • Essence of Bravery
  • Frenzy Potion
  • Sage's Essence
  • Tree of Life Sap
  • Drop of Grace
  • Sun Tears
  • Executioner's Mutagen
  • Savage Compound
  • Manastorm Draft
  • Vigorous Draught
  • Tonic of Blood
  • Juggernaut Tonic
  • Oversea Tonic
  • Assault Tonic
  • Infantry Boost
  • Dawn's Drop
  • Nursing Elixir
  • Opportunist's Elixir
  • Training Elixir
  • Thug's Tonic
  • Tonic of Regeneration
  • Energetic Tonic

Additionally:

  • Expert Elixir and Slayer Elixir had their duration increased from 4 → 5 minutes and given a cooldown.
  • Wild Pheromones and Combat Panacea had their cooldowns fixed as they were previously not activating.
  • Searing Poison, Astral Decoction and  Quickening Concoction were removed from the Rangers Company Shop.

With these changes, the Rangers Company Shop will now offer a more consistent selection of items, ensuring that consumables provide meaningful choices when preparing for hunts.

Miscellaneous

  • Players under 15,000 Renown will now be able to pay with $QUEST to use the Mass Collect feature, and the cost in $QUEST has been reduced by 50% from the original rate. Players with over 15,000 Renown remain able to use it for free.
  • Updated the Sell All functionality at NPC Vendors: the action now sells all items across all qualities in your Inventory.
  • Updated the Mirror Image skill description to accurately list all affected skills.
  • Adjusted the global Arena opening message to display for 10 seconds instead of permanently.
  • Passageways between Expedition main path rooms now appear as swirling Mist, replacing the old door visuals.
  • Updated the Party Members list to dynamically indicate distance. From now on, names of players 7+ tiles away are now grayed out, showing they are out of range for your skills.
  • Added new system messages related to the Dynamic Event "Eye of the Storm".
  • Added PT-BR translations for the Naturalist and Ballistics RavenCard lore texts.

  • Spring Bulbs will no longer be awarded from Expedition Chests.
  • Ballistics’ Legendary Skill is now properly triggering the 1-minute cooldown on other Legendary Skills when used.
  • The NPC Munk Taskmaster is now back to Ravencrest, and players can now properly purchase QUEST Cores.
  • Using Haste, Bloodlust, Shamanic Brooch, or Quick Fire will no longer cause FPS drops.
  • The RavenCards Embercap Mushroom and Tiger Bug Spitter now show accurate values on all tiers.
  • Damage from ranged weapons is now correctly applied and displayed on the creature Shieldback Croc.
  • When catching a new fish with a full inventory, you will now see it correctly marked as earned in your Fishing profession, along with the RavenCrest Emblems.
  • Fixed an issue where the Fishing Pond’s Effort cost visually reset to 0 after logging out.
  • Fixed an issue where Gathering Minigame registered as a successful hit even if the gray line didn’t reach the green zone.
  • Fixed an issue where spamming the revive button could send players to Ravencrest instead of the nearest Shrine.
  • Fixed an issue where the World Map displayed the Aether Rift map while inside the Arena Lobby.
  • Fixed an issue where Pistol damage was being treated as melee, causing it to deal higher damage than intended and incorrectly interact with mechanics such as passives and oils.
