Today we bring Update 1.2.2 live with system improvements, balance refinements, and quality-of-life upgrades across the entire world of RavenQuest. With the ability to mint your Munk PFPs, the arrival of the New Fame Wheel packed with rewards in Ravencrest, new high-level hunting grounds, Reforging Stability (expert Crafters now more desired than ever), and a wide range of fixes and polish, this update brings another round of significant additions to RavenQuest.
Sadly… the Munks will be taking a short vacation from the Carnival, and with that, many Pets will be retiring from the Munk Carnival. However, the Munk Carnival will return, with all new surprises for Adventurers! Now, let’s dive in to Update 1.2.2!

Munk PFPs are now fully enabled as NFTs and officially integrated into the $QUEST Ecosystem!
Munk PFPs can now be minted (after maintenance) and behave like any other NFT collection, allowing players to deposit them into the game and withdraw them back to their wallets at any time. Deposited Munks will now appear in the Ascendable Inventory in-game, where players can view and manage them through the updated UI.

Each account can deposit up to one Munk PFP into the game, and only deposited Munks count toward the Renown bonus. While the Renown bonus logic itself remains unchanged, it is now applied directly through the NFT system instead of temporary data propagation, ensuring a more consistent experience.

The Fame Pool Rewards system is getting a big new addition! A brand-new Fortune Wheel called Fame Wheel has arrived in Ravencrest, giving Adventurers a new way to spin for valuable rewards.
Players can now earn Fame Wheel Tickets on top of the $QUEST amount through the new Fame Pool distribution (these tickets are required to spin the Fame Wheel and unlock a variety of rewards!
And yes — the stakes are huge. Among the possible rewards, Adventurers can win up to 1,000,000 $QUEST or even a Fort (currently only max 1 available. If pulled, will be removed until a Fort is repurchased) in a single spin. Fortune truly favors the bold.
This new reward pool begins counting with this update, meaning Fame Wheel Tickets will start dropping for players next Tuesday.

You will already be able to see the Fame Wheel in Ravencrest, however it will not be interactable immediately. The Wheel will be fully enabled and ready to spin later this week, once ticket distribution goes live.
This update marks another step forward in improving the overall value and excitement of Fame Pool Rewards!

With this update, we are introducing Stability to the Gear Reforging System!
Reforging is one of the most powerful progression tools in RavenQuest, allowing players to push their equipment closer to perfection. Over time, however, reforging has become a system with little long-term cost once a player acquires a good base item. This leads to excessive rerolling, reduced item turnover, and diminished value for crafted and non-upgraded gear. Stability is designed to solve this by introducing a meaningful equipment sink into the reforging loop.
Every reforge attempt now consumes Stability, and restoring Stability requires sacrificing an additional copy of the same item. This creates a healthy demand for crafted gear, increases the relevance of previously non-desirable items, and strengthens the role of crafters within the game economy.
Our goals with this system are to add a long-term burn layer to equipment progression, reduce infinite reforging loops, increase item circulation in the economy, create new value for crafted and dropped gear, and reinforce crafting as a core pillar of progression.
This is how Stability works:

This change ensures reforging remains powerful, but now comes with meaningful economic and progression decisions attached to it.

Following the recent improvements aimed at enhancing high-level hunting gameplay, this update continues to refine creature distribution across Ostera while also opening access to two long-awaited new hunting grounds.
Creature spawns have been rebalanced in Venomroot Hollow and Woodman’s Folly, improving the overall flow and pacing of encounters in these areas. In addition, two brand-new spawns are now available, offering fresh high-level hunting options for seasoned Adventurers:
Updated Spawns
New Spawns
These changes expand endgame hunting routes and provide new opportunities for players looking to push their limits. Expect more updates like this in the near future!
